I sometimes wonder when my kids will start remembering stuff. You know, will Rusty be able to quote McLintock his entire life and not know why?
Today Billy let me know how far back his memory goes. We were talking about a possible trip to Grandpa Brent and Grandma Jeanne’s house. Ricky asked where we would sleep and Billy answered before Kevin and I had the chance,
“On the two bunk beds in the game room!”
Now we haven’t been to their grandparents’ house since June 2009. Billy wasn’t even two and a half yet but he knew exactly where he would be sleeping. Remembering Grandpa Brent’s pool is one thing … we have pictures of that. Remembering the bunk beds in the game room? Where did he pull that from?
