Tommy Crawls

The real, live crawl.  He does.  Tommy started doing the real crawl more than his floppy worm crawl a couple of weeks ago and now it is his preferred method of transportation.

This faster way of getting around allows him to follow his brothers much easier.  It also puts him in more dangerous situations.

Billy and Rusty enjoy running around our kitchen island and Tommy thinks he should participate.  He sometimes goes the wrong way.

Rusty and Billy try to keep an eye out for their baby brother, but sometimes …

… collisions happen.

Then there are sad faces.

And kisses and apologies.  Then everyone is up and at it again.

Until they need a rest with the cats.

(and this one is just because Billy insisted on another picture …)

Momma had a birthday

It was my turn on the birthday block and the boys treated me very nicely.  They each made me cute cards and helped Kevin give me a new Precious Moments statue (although Rusty was quite disturbed that he didn’t get to unwrap the freshly wrapped gift).  Kevin might have given me a little something too …

There really is only so much birthday cake that I can consume, so my mom brought birthday eclairs.

Don’t mind the McDonalds cup.  It was my birthday.  I was not making dinner.

The boys enjoyed helping with my candle.  I think Rusty thought we were singing to him again.

Rusty didn’t care what the dessert was.  It was dessert.  That’s all he cared about!

Ricky and Billy had fun trying to figure out how to eat them without the cream all squirting out.

I got lots of loves and hugs and kisses all day.  And I got to look at this cuteness …

I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday!

Aunt Cathy gave the boys a very cute snowman kit for Christmas.  We’ve had very little snow this year and what we have had has NOT been good snowman making snow.

When we woke up to a few inches one day this week, Billy and I were hopeful.  Alas, we were disappointed again.  So I told him to throw on his boots and we’d make us a snowman (pajamas are optional).

Pretty good, eh?

Kevin and Rusty

Both being third children of their families, Kevin and Rusty have an extra bond.

Okay, so maybe that has nothing to do with it.  But they are very cute together.

And they both …

have cute faces!

A little Bon Jovi?

Maybe some Def Leppard?

Or perhaps Tim McGraw?

What about Neil Diamond?

Whatever it was, Rusty was into it!
