We visited the fair on Wednesday night. We had entered a photograph of Ricky (mostly due to Kevin’s dad’s urging) and we wanted to see what we’d won. Proudly, we got a blue ribbon.
Ricky loved all the tractors and watching some of the rodeo. We didn’t find any animals to pet or the pony ride, but we did let him go on some of the carnival rides. He particularly loved the great big slide. Kevin went down that with him and they picked up some serious speed. Billy enjoyed his views from the stroller for only so long, then he wanted to see more of the world. As Ricky rode the Carousel, Billy gave him a big smile every time Ricky came around.
