This afternoon I asked Ricky if we should take Trouble and Daisy with us to Grandmama’s. He was all for it and then he said, “Even though they are a slob, I still love them.” I began racking my brain for any time when I referred to someone as a slob that he may have picked up on and asked him, “Why are they a slob?” Ricky explained, “You know their tongue hangs out and they slob on everything!”
The boys’ friends came over Friday and we pulled out the dress-up costume bag. On and off and on again went the costumes. Billy became VERY excited when he saw the Thomas the Tank Engine costume! I’m not sure what Spiderman has to do with trains, but it is an interesting combo.
Rusty is a very casual guy. He was hanging out in his chair while I got ready for the day and he dozed off. Don’t you just want to kiss those cheeks?
I went through our 72 Hour Emergency Kits this weekend including one that I haven’t looked in for years. I don’t know what happened to this bag of M&Ms but I guess they aren’t meant for these kinds of kits. They’ve been stored in a 5 gallon bucket (so they didn’t get smooshed) which lived in our garage (so the temperature wasn’t too drastic one way or the other). Anybody know how/why this happened? I told Ricky that the candy exploded. He didn’t need any more explanation than that. I’m glad.
