I mentioned in another post about our Last Week of Christ’s Life activities. The only one that had any decent pictures was our Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem night.
Notice the four boys all ready to line the way into Jerusalem with palm leaves … er, philodendron leaves.
And here is our Block Jerusalem, Yoda on a chihuahua’s back pretending to be Jesus, and the leaves and cloaks lining the path. If only you could hear the hurrays …
Anther pre-Easter celebration was a trip to visit cousins Danny and Cate. The boys got to do an egg hunt in their backyard, along with Danny and Cate’s cousin RayRay.
It only took Tommy a minute to figure out what all the running and grabbing was about. He was very meticulous about putting his eggs carefully into his plastic bag.
Since I was busy helping Tommy figure out this whole egg hunt thing, I didn’t get to pay too much attention to what the other boys were doing. I did my best to randomly snap pictures of them though …
Once all the eggs were found, the boys got to empty all the candy out of their eggs and that is when Tommy TRULY understood the meaning of an egg hunt. Smarties are his friend. Since then, if he finds a plastic egg, he is opening it looking for the candy inside. On Easter, he brought me the same egg over and over just to see if more candy had magically appeared inside.
