Kevin’s younger brother and his family were able to visit us for a few hours while they were in Utah last month. Scheduling was tricky, so we were glad for those few hours.
The boys were so excited to have Jackson over. The others? Eh. I tried to get them to remember the girls’ names, but they were focused on Jackson.
We spent most of the time in the backyard. I love my backyard. It is a good place to play.
It was really nice that Jackson, Megan, and Whitney weren’t afraid of our dogs … we didn’t have to lock the dogs in the garage.
Trouble’s hips have gotten really bad and it probably won’t be long before we have to let him go … but I’m not talking about that now. I’m talking about fun on the tire swing …
and the rope swing …
and the swing set for me and Kevin … (thanks for the picture, Amber!)
and on the kids’ swing seat …
and in the sandbox …
How I love having that sandbox. All the sand that gets tromped into my house … not so much, but the hours of amusement it provides my boys is priceless!
Kevin was a trooper and cleared up the dog droppings so we could enjoy our time even more. Rusty saw his dad and said, “Pooper Scooper!” Hee hee
After some pizza, the kids watched some TV while the grown-ups talked.
It was a nice visit … hope to see you all again soon!
