When we signed Billy and Rusty up for tee-ball, Ricky didn’t really want to play so I tried to find something that he would enjoy more. Our local Treehouse Children’s Museum has a week-long summer camp where the kids go and learn about putting on a play and, on Friday night, perform the play for their parents. I knew that was up Ricky’s alley, so I signed him up.
It was a great experience for him. His friend, Hyrum, did the camp with him and they came home excited every day. The group chose “Heckedy Peg” for their play.
Seeing the performance on Friday night was a special treat. Ricky beamed and was so excited to show off for us. (that’s him waving at us)
It was a MUCH better choice for this boy than baseball would have been!
You can see his play HERE. (it is only about 16 minutes long – and was taped using my phone)
