This past week, Bobby turned 2 months old. Or 9 weeks. Whichever you prefer.
He is a good baby. He eats every 2 to 3 hours during the day and at night he often goes 4 or 5 or, once, 6 hours between feedings. He has given up the unwinding cry that he did the first 6 weeks or so – he’d cry off and on for a couple of hours each night.
Bobby saw the doctor for a well-check and weighed in at 12 pounds (75th percentile) and 23 inches long (50th percentile).
He was given some vaccinations – 3 pokes and an oral one. He wasn’t too thrilled with that.
Bobby has delightfully full cheeks and multiple chins. His hair is still dark and starting to fill in quite a bit. His eyes don’t really look all that blue and the doctor even thought they would most likely be a non-blue color (I’ve been hoping for a brown eyed baby).
He is a good little eater but not a huge fan of the pacifier. He’s started sucking on his own fist a lot and he might be my first thumb sucker! He sometimes thinks I’m his lollipop.
We are loving this little man and are so thankful he joined our wild bunch. I can’t believe two months have already gone by!
