For his 2013 goal, Tommy wanted to go bowling. Or at least that’s what we came up with seeing as we couldn’t really understand much of what he was saying a year ago. We put it off, we moved, we had a baby … and finally with just a few days left in 2013, we made it to SpareTime Bowling.
We hadn’t been bowling in a few years, so it felt like the first time for all the boys.
The bowling alley is automated so the bumpers only popped up for the kids. I was a bit bummed by that – I was looking forward to not getting any gutter balls myself!
The two older boys played against Kevin and the two younger ones played against me. Bobby slept.
I’m not sure how I feel about the fact that I only barely beat Tommy and Rusty.
I do think that bowling shoes on little feet are absolutely adorable. Who’m I kidding? I think bowling shoes on most any feet are absolutely adorable!
It was an excellent morning out and we all liked Tommy’s goal so much that we put it on our “2014 Wanna Do” list for this year!
