We have a family of great friends who live in our new neighborhood. We were friends before we moved here, but being so close has just made it so much easier to get together often. They have 4 children, one boy Ricky’s age, one boy between Billy and Rusty, one boy Tommy’s age, and a girl about 9 months older than Bobby. It works great!
My friend throws the best birthday parties for her kids! Her latest one was Harry Potter themed and she went all out … including dressing up at Professor McGonnagall herself!
The boys had a fabulous time and like to ask me why I don’t throw birthday parties like Mrs. Buck. I don’t really have a good answer for them other than I just don’t.
We had their family over for a BBQ a few weeks ago…complete with swimming, water gun attacks, KOOB, and star gazing. It was so much fun and the boys were so excited about playing night games … we should totally do it more often!
