Our neighborhood doesn’t do trick or treating on Halloween. They all gather on a dead end road and let the kids Trunk or Treat. This year the boys had buckets full of candy and were all done in less than 30 minutes! We’ve never been done quite so quickly! But it let us come home, eat some of that candy, and watch “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” together before bed.

I had fun with mine and Kevin’s costumes this year. My goal, every Halloween, is to give Kevin hair. One day a year he gets to be hairy. This year I decided to have us coordinate. He is the Prince Charming to my Snow White. We may have to reuse these costumes for many years to come …
