Let me explain August. No, there is too much. Let me sum up …
Our really good friends had a sweet baby girl in August. Isn’t Kevin cute holding Baby Zuzu? Isn’t nice of our friends to have baby girls for him to hold?
Uncle Tony stopped by one day to show us his new ride … the boys were very excited about it!
He took the boys for a short ride in his new jeep and they can’t wait for their next one!
We decided to see what all the fuss was about concerning Zaxby’s – a chicken restaurant. The boys liked the chicken.
I liked spending time with my boys!
Kevin and I went to the wedding of our friend Jessie. We had the chance to be her leaders at our church and absolutely love that girl. It was an honor to see her get married and spend much of the day with her and her family.
We slipped away for a while and went to the Family History Center in Salt Lake. We did some indexing and played around in their discovering center. That’s where we learned what you get when you cross Kevin with Cindy …
You get very attractive people, that’s what!
We spent the evening enjoying the Jessie and Quinn party! Love these two!
Tommy jumped ahead of Rusty in the missing tooth race. Not that Rusty is even racing – he doesn’t have anything wiggly in his mouth. Tommy lost one and, a week later, lost another.
Our final play group of the summer was a luau party. The boys had such a good time playing pineapple bowling and balloon volleyball …
…and the cuteness of my baby in a grass skirt was too much to handle!
Our church sponsors a swim party at the local aquatic center. We swam and went down the slides and Tommy enjoyed some yummy treats – all over his face!
Kevin and I celebrated our 17th anniversary. We went out for a good dinner …
and then Kevin got sick. As in, we got to the car from the restaurant and he was down and out in the backseat. Thankfully, it was a 24 hour kind of bug, but still put a bit of a damper on our celebrations!
I took Billy to the dentist last year and they noticed a third front tooth growing in his jaw. When I had him to the orthodontist in August, they told me it needed to come out ASAP. It was growing between the roots of his grown up teeth causing problems, so out it came. It was much larger than I expected!
Billy did really well. In recovery, his biggest concern was making sure we got the tooth to bring home!
Everyday wasn’t a party. Some days we just hung out, started getting ready for school, and took funny selfies …
I love this little man!
And there you go.
