After a week or two of fog and grayness, Kevin knew I needed to see sunshine. He loaded us all up and said, “We are going to keep driving until we find blue skies and sun!”
And drive we did. We saw our first blue sky in Henefer, but there isn’t anything else in Henefer, so we kept driving.
We finally stopped in Evanston at the Bear River Greenway trail.
There were blue skies, lots of sunshine, and some pretty deep snow! We found a play ground and some benches – but that bench Tommy is sitting on? The snow comes all the way up to the seat!
And this contraption was some pull up device – I don’t think the boys were supposed to start at ground level!
It was so nice to be outside and in the sun! The boys ran and walked and explored to their hearts’ content. We went more than 2.5 miles that day. That’s a lot of walking for a 2 year old!
But we were happy!
And we saw a moose in the brush along the trail. A real wild moose. Just hanging out. We don’t have moose hanging out in the brush at home.
The sunshine made all of us happy …
It also made Bobby very tired. That and the curly fries … they are enough to make anyone need a nap!
There you go!
