We don’t take the pictures off of Kevin’s phone very often – apparently! Here are some of my favorites from November and December last year.
Kevin can’t resist these bedtime snuggles. One of the many perks of reading stories to our boys…
The boys went with Kevin to my mom’s house to rake leaves. They found a snake.
Kevin let them play with it. Let’s just say that we parent differently.
Our insurance company gave us tickets to see “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” and Kevin and I took Ricky with us. He loved the movie and he quite enjoyed this photo prop in the lobby, too.
The Elder’s Quorum had a pinewood derby event. These are the winners. Kevin ran it rather than participate.
I try to discourage him taking my picture, but it doesn’t always work.
Our Thanksgiving trip to California…the boys do love their grandparents!
Bobby was quite taken with Grandpa Brent’s lap!!
Hugs and smiles…
And freezing cold jumps into the pool.
My people are crazy …
Some of the best parts of the trip are the still moments just enjoying each other’s company.
Or the TV. It is still nice.
Our ward Christmas party included a “Dress your most festive” contest. We did our best!
They had activities for the kids at the ward party, too. The boys became instant reindeer!
I take my calling as Gospel Doctrine teacher VERY seriously!
I love that my boys like books …
And that they share that love with each other!
Bed head and banana mouth??
Getting my llama fix after our Nativity performance…
Bobby isn’t always the most helpful when Kevin is trying to get work done. He loves his dad too much to leave him alone!
I have a pop-up “Night Before Christmas” book that I’ve had since I was a little girl. I do love reading it to the boys on Christmas Eve…
Ricky rolls around a lot in his sleep. That is his bed to the right. The blue sheet. The only thing ON his bed is his hand!
Selfies are fun…
The Christmas morning gift pass around …
Everyone eagerly anticipating…
Grandmama helping Bobby …
My good lookin’ number 2 son!
Ricky gave Billy a blanket for Christmas that needed to be trimmed and knotted. They worked on it together … with an audience.
Who says you have to make gingerbread houses before Christmas?
And who says using kits from the previous year is tacky? I call it frugal.
The boys didn’t seem to care one bit when I kept reminding them to not eat the old candy!
Such a happy family …
Sometimes Duchess comes to play. Bobby quite likes her.
I do most of my Christmas shopping online. I love all the choices and the convenience. Plus it makes recycling day an adventure!
There you go!
