February 2018 Happenings …
Our sweet Rusty had his birthday. He loves his birthday and having a day about him! He wanted a Lego Slot set and I was happy to be able to find one! Rusty knows his sloth and dino facts and will tell you all about them. He can be timid and seconds later can talk your ear off! He brings a lot of peace and laughter to our home.
- The 3 middles love having Grandma come to the school for Grandparent Lunch.
- Rusty made a duplicate him for Parent/Teacher Conferences.
- A little pre-church chess competition happened one Sunday.
- As room mom, I helped with Rusty’s class Valentine’s party. The kids tried their chopstick sills against Mr. Claycomb.
- Kevin and Billy make a beautiful pair!
- Maggie the cat just felt like sitting on my back and I did not really approve!
- Kevin aired out some sleeping bags and Maggie thought it was a perfect napping spot.
- I got a new ukulele for my birthday and Hunter likes helping me practice.
Our Billy turned 11…He has such a big heart and wants to make us all proud! He loves being independent and learning how to do things all on his own. And he’s caring enough to use those new skills to help his brothers! He loves playing basketball and baseball and has become good at both. He enjoys Legos and reading and any adventure he can get!
- Jazz game with our friends the Bucks.
- I found a face mask for Ricky and Kevin to take on the Klondike at Camp Kiesel and tried it on for Bobby.
- Ricky tried some knife throwing at the Klondike.
- Tommy had an expander placed for his phase 1 of braces.
Our Blue and Gold Banquet was Billy’s final pack meeting and he earned his Webelos Badge and his Arrow of Light. He got to cross the bridge into Boy Scouting. We had some Box Car Races and Rusty wanted a canoe while Billy reused our Harry Potter broomstick.
