Some more from the first half of this year on Kevin’s phone…
January brought sick days to our house. Each of the boys took a turn. They did a good job comforting each other!
Tommy and Bobby were the most sick – pre-pneumonia. They had breathing treatments multiple times a day for a week. Watching shows on my phone got them through…
It got pretty cold this winter. Apparently the parking lot at church was the warmest place for these ducks to warm their toes! They weren’t moving, either. Didn’t matter the size of the car. This was THEIR spot!
I’m not sure who enjoys birthday presents more – the giver or the receiver!
My favorite part … the post present hug!
Two cuties!
Love my Rusty!
Billy really can’t resist the urge to blow out birthday candles … his or his brothers!
Kevin and I do like trying new restaurants and new foods. This date night brought us fried pickles. They grew on me but Kevin wasn’t much of a fan!
Then all the snow melted. It got really swampy for a couple of weeks. We don’t have a basement, but our crawlspace was a pond. Normally, this section is just gravel. That is standing water …
For as often as Kevin seems to take pictures of me asleep (with a cat on my lap), you’d think I nap all the time. Really. I don’t.
Kevin took the boys to Macey’s for ice cream. You get your money’s worth there … the kong kone!
Bobby may have gotten the Baby Kong…
More birthday hugs!
Bobby gives really good hugs … when he wants to.
Love.
For Billy’s birthday dinner, we went to “The New Hello China.” Grandmama joined us.
I wonder if Billy liked his present?
Rusty picked well!
The weeks when all the boys have a part in the primary opening exercises are often referred to as “the Pendleton show.”
Billy and Rusty presenting the colors together at the Blue and Gold Banquet.
Billy earned his Bear badge. His leaders had just been released and they were super good leaders.
I got another pin!
Kevin and I had tickets to see Mary Poppins but I took my turn being sick. Ricky got to go instead. He really does love plays!
Our group of friends out for my birthday (a few weeks late). This is a pretty decent Mexican place. This wasn’t the best night though as I bit into a chunk of glass in my meal. No damage done and I got a free dessert and meal out of it!
You sunk my battleship!!
I never have learned how to play chess. I don’t know if these two know how to play either, but they have fun doing whatever it is they are doing.
The detachable pillow cushions on our couch drive me crazy, but they do make for good fort building…
One cat short of crazy…
Rusty got his Bobcat badge in April which means another pin for me!
At the school Art Show there was a mural where the kids were asked to draw a picture of themselves. Here’s Bobby …
Tommy likes a good face painting …
Our art teacher is really devoted and great with the kids. She also is big on our art show! This year, she had all the students paint a self portrait and it was assembled into a big collage that says “Hooper Mustangs.”
It really looks great in the school!
And I so love finding my boys in it!
Bobby got sick again the first week of May. Kevin was a good caretaker.
Maggie makes it difficult to make the bed. She looks so comfy that it is hard to move her!
I took a quick trip to Hawaii and brought the boys back these tiki masks. They made a totem pole out of them…
This was the day I got home from Hawaii. I was exhausted from the red eye flight and sun burned. I totally deserved a nap. But I really need to work on looking happier when I sleep.
Pizza Pie Cafe for Tommy’s birthday!
See Billy in the background? He just can’t resist …
I love candle pictures!
We bought Lagoon season passes this year. Bobby loves kiddie land!
Brothers don’t seem to mind it either!
The smiles make it worth it!
I love them…
That doesn’t mean that they don’t make me crazy though!
Baseball season started in May. Billy took the opportunity to give Bobby some pointers!
