On Saturday, Kevin took the boys into Lowes Home Improvement Store. They were walking down one of the aisles and Ricky said, “Poppy, do we need help?” Kevin was a bit confused, but answered nope. Ricky then said, “Because if we do, we just push this button right here.” He is just too dang smart!
Billy hurt his foot today. We felt awful about it, but now that he seems to be doing better it is easier to snicker about. He was jumping from the window seat to the bed (only about a foot drop) and Kevin was just about to get after him, when Billy hurt his foot. Billy’s tolerance for pain is very high, but he did cry a little bit and then curled up under a blanket on Ricky’s bed with his stuffed cat. When he tried to walk, his leg would just give out and he would fall down like a little drunken man. Like I said, it was really sad at the time, but now we can laugh about it. We had a doctor’s appointment for Rusty shortly after wards and he didn’t think anything was wrong with Billy’s leg. He still favored it for the afternoon and at one point he would only move by walking on his knees. At one point he hobbled over to his swing and sat looking “woe is me” and awfully cute . .
.
After nap time, the boys get some TV time and it usually involves Sesame Street. Today they were particularly engrossed in the story.
Finally, we are slowly getting used to having Rusty around. He is so little and is a very good baby (it is hard not to be considered good when you sleep as much as he does). Here are just a few of the cute little faces we get to look at during the day.
