A few tidbits from Kevin’s phone … okay. More than a FEW tidbits …
Kevin’s work sponsors a Bees day every May. The company has a BBQ on site and the family can go to the baseball game.
Bobby and I stayed home this year, but Kevin and the big boys had a great time!
When sick tummies hit, the beach towels come out!
Uncle John makes a great couch.
Cusco the llama on his hill…
Sometimes you don’t feel good and your parents make you go to your baseball game anyway. Poor Rusty … but they needed him!
Sometimes the cat insists on licking your head …
Rusty and Tommy are both out there playing somewhere. Since their coach took to calling them “Rusty-Tommy,” it’s okay that I can’t pick them out 6 months later either!
Billy’s on base …
Kevin got a couple of inflatable kayaks for Father’s Day and they got their first dry run in the front room.
I have no words.
I have even less than no words.
I strongly encouraged Kevin to go to Scout Camp with Ricky this last summer. He was going to go a few days, but I told Ricky not to let him come home until it was over.
Ricky needed his dad and Kevin needed a view like this for a good week!
It was a good time for both of them.
Kevin did a 1 mile swimming challenge. He hasn’t done a lot of swimming in years and that water was cold, but he did it! He’s a stud!!
Not quite all the boys from our ward …
The big cousins entertaining my boys while we waited for Ella’s baptism in July.
Kevin took Bobby to a toddler and parent camp at the Ogden Nature Center.
Bobby got to learn about being animal superheroes!
He even got a winged cape!
In July we went camping at Stateline Reservoir with our friends, the Buck family. It was beautiful there!
The boys got a lot of practice fishing …
We also worked on finishing Ricky’s geocaching merit badge while we were out camping. There’s a geocache in that hole.
Ta-da!
Ricky getting some birthday hugs from his brothers…
Sometimes you have to lead your family in singing the birthday song … even if it is your own birthday!
Kevin and I really enjoyed our parents only trip to San Diego…
While there, Kevin kept his eye out for birds and captured a photo of this one …
More costuming …
One of the signs that Bobby needed to move up to a twin bed was watching him sleep on his little cot when we went to California in August.
Sniff, sniff. My baby is growing up! Look how sweet he is!
End, part 1.
