So I don’t have a picture of it yet (they don’t last long and digital cameras can be slow), but Rusty is doing honest-to-goodness smiles! They are very sweet and show off his dimples so well. You have to work hard to get one from him, but they are real–not just gas ones! Tomorrow Rusty will be 6 weeks old.
We’ve been reading Dr. Seuss books to Ricky forever, but when he got to dress up like the Cat in the Hat for preschool, a real love was formed. Then Grandmama gave him a stuffed Cat in the Hat and that’s all I’ve heard about since. Here he is in his preschool-made costume.
Ricky loves hearing about things he did when he was little and he remembers helping Uncle Tim wash dishes at Grandmama’s house. He kept asking me when he could do that again and since I wasn’t sure, I let him help with some dishes. Now he “washes” dishes every time he washes his hands.
And our Billy. He is such a character!
He is also a couch potato (or an ottoman potato in this case). His current favorites are “Thomas the Tank Engine” and the movie “Cars.” They are requested over and over and over.
The last week or so the two big boys have been getting along fabulously. Ricky has been sharing so well and Billy has toned down his torture tactics!
