Yesterday morning Kevin took the big boys to the park for the local Easter Egg Hunt. The boys slept in (a very rare occurrence), so they were running a bit late. By the time they got parked and to the park, the horn was sounding for the hunt to begin and our boys were in the 10-12 year old section! The big kids didn’t run them over, but the boys only each got about 5 eggs. You would never know that that was a small number though … Ricky and Billy were very excited about those 5 eggs! It was freezing cold … that’s why the boys are in full winter gear!
Even though it was so cold, they took a few minutes to, cough, cut in line and see Peter Rabbit.
Less than 15 minutes after they left our house to fight the thousands of kids, they were in the car and warming up on their way home.
They might be smiling, but Rusty and I aren’t fooled … we were perfectly content staying home this year! Brrrr …
