Last night while Kevin went to a church meeting, we colored our Easter Eggs with Grandmama.
Billy was old enough this year to really get into it. He particularly liked spooning the color from one cup onto the eggs in the other colors. It made for some very interesting color combinations. Ricky had fun creating pictures and writing words with the “magic crayon.”
Because I had so much fun watching the boys color the eggs, I took a lot of pictures. Here are just a few:
After playing with all that dye, they were tossed in the tub with the hopes that their fingers might return to normal. Naturally, Rusty had to be a part of the bath … running bath water calls to him!
Baths at Grandmama’s are always more fun than ones at home!
When we left to come home, Billy was very concerned that I would forget all those lovely eggs. He must have asked me 4 times if I had gotten the eggs from the fridge. He knew that the Easter Bunny was coming and would need those eggs for hiding and he didn’t want me to mess that up! So glad that he keeps me on the ball!
