CuterKids.com

We have changed the name/address of our boys’ blog, so you may want to update your bookmarks and RSS feeds.  The old address will re-route to here for a while, but the new name is easier anyway — cuterkids.com, as in “could our kids BE any cuter?”  And, no, we aren’t the least bit biased.

Our camera has been resting lately.  I really should pull it out more often.

Meal time is always an adventure around here.  Subway sandwiches are usually a big hit and here is Billy trying to share a tomato with our cat Maggie (who knows she does not belong on the cupboard).

We often reuse bibs, since they don’t get very dirty at some meals.  Here is Billy grabbing out some leftovers from lunch earlier that day.  Either that or stashing some for later!

Ricky enjoys oranges and already knows the fun of sticking an entire orange wedge into his mouth at once.

One night when Kevin went in to check on the boys before coming to bed, he found Billy in this position.  It looked at though he had just collapsed into the corner of the bed.    We’ve always been able to get fun pictures of Ricky sleeping, but Billy just doesn’t sleep in strange positions very often.

When Ricky came home from preschool the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, I expected the typical Indian costume made from a brown paper bag.  Instead this is what greeted me at the door . . .

With Billy getting bigger and stronger, the boys are getting more and more rambunctious with each other.  Tackling is the bane of my existence some days!  Here they are going at it.  I found it very difficult to get a good picture with them moving around so much!  You can tell from Billy’s face that even though it drives me nuts, he enjoys the way Ricky plays with him.

One last thought that I want to remember.  Billy doesn’t say a lot of sentences, he still mostly speaks in one or two word phrases, but he does have one sentence that I hear day and night.  “W’are you?”  Sometimes he is calling me, “Momma, w’are you?”  Usually, it is directed Kevin’s way, “Poppy, w’are you?” (he has learned how to say Poppy and it is SO cute).  Today, after dropping the kids off at preschool, Billy started calling for them “Ricky, w’are you?” and he really enjoys saying the name of one of the boys we carpool with, “Beau, w’are you?”  It is very adorable, until you have been in the grocery store for 15 minutes and Billy has been calling for Ricky the whole time!
