"Fwosty! Fwosty!"

I had to wake Billy up from his nap today.  This isn’t a habit I practice often.  I am much more of the school of thought where you let sleeping babes sleep, but it was 4:30 and he’d been asleep more than 3 hours.   So I quietly walked into the room, so as not to shock him awake, opened the curtains and turned around to see him suddenly sit straight up in bed and exclaim, “Fwosty!  Fwosty!”

The little one is obsessed with Frosty the Snowman.   At his insistence we watch the movie at least once a day and usually more (thanks to his little pointer finger and his “un more”).   With our recent snow storms, he’s tickled to see a Frosty or two as we drive around the neighborhood and makes certain to point them out to me each and every time!  Billy recently got a cup with Mickey Mouse building a snowman pictured on it.  He didn’t even notice Mickey . . . he was too excited to have a cup with “Fwosty” on it!  I am sure that tomorrow I will again be fortunate enough to hear his repeated cries of “Fwosty, Fwosty, Fwosty.”  This afternoon, he even brought me the DVD remote as he begged for his favorite little movie.   He’s just too cute to refuse sometimes (and luckily, Ricky doesn’t mind watching Frosty over and over again either)!
