Bossy Billy, the sequel

Shortly after posting the previous post, Billy showed off his bossiness yet again.  Why he even THINKS he can get away with some of these things amazes me.

We were on our way out the door to Grandmama’s house for dinner and the boys were grabbing a toy or two to take along.  Billy decided he needed to take a big box of trains and train tracks, but it was too heavy to carry.  I had already told him to just choose one train, but he turned to Kevin and ordered, “YOU take out to van!!”  To which Kevin laughed and disobeyed.  Billy ended up with just his Ninja Turtles, which he can carry on his own.

Then, as we were riding in the van, Ricky called out, “Hey, Poppy?” and was ready to tell Kevin something very insightful, I’m sure, when Mr. Bossy Pants spoke up,  “NO!  I’M TALKING TO POPPY!”  Well, Billy had not been talking to anyone.  Up until then, he’d been content looking out the window, but as soon as Ricky wanted Kevin’s attention, Billy suddenly had to have center stage.  The best part, though, was when Kevin said, “Okay, Billy.  What is it?”  and Billy spent the next two minutes repeating, “Um.  Um.  Um.”
