Early November

I found a few pictures from our pre-cruise days that seemed blog worthy!

Rusty started crawling the day before Halloween and hasn’t stopped.  He is fast and goes where he pleases!  Yesterday, it was down the stairs, much to our chagrin (he survived, as did we).  In his early days, we thought his getting under the Exersaucer was an accomplishment.

Rusty loves putting things in his mouth.  He will find the smallest scrap on the floor and in it goes.  He also has a thing for these little car key chains.  He holds the ring part in his mouth and just lets the car dangle.  He’ll keep it there for 4 or 5 minutes if we let him.

We had a leaf raking party with our friends early in November.  The way our parties work is Shanae and I rake the leaves into a nice big pile and the kids (and us too) spend the next 15 minutes dismanteling the pile!  It is fun and the boys all seem to love it!  Here are a few shots of their fun.  Rusty just sat and watched in amazement.  He did end up dirty though since Trouble and Daisy kept licking his face!

Shanae shows no mercy - that's why we like her!

Billy enjoyed the leaves until he got some in his face and down the neck of his jacket. He did NOT like that and let us all know.

And if you leave the big boys alone in the garage with their toy cars and a full dog food bucket shortly after they’ve watched the movie “Cars,”  you might get something like this:

They created their own city of Radiator Springs in 5, maybe 10, minutes while Kevin helped me with something in the house.  They were perfectly happy and so proud of themselves.  The dogs didn’t mind eating the food, either.

And one more shot of Rusty.  Dang, he’s cute!
