Copy Cat

Billy loves Ricky very much and almost always wants to do whatever Ricky is doing.  If Ricky says he doesn’t like pink yogurt, Billy won’t like pink yogurt.  If Ricky needs to do homework, Billy wants to do some homework.  If Ricky is picking up toys, Billy mostly likely won’t be.  He is still human.

The boys have both been fighting some virus the last little bit that is bothering their ears.  Thankfully they are not infected.  The other night, Ricky’s ear was bothering him enough that I put some numbing ear drops in and then a wad of tissue to keep the drops in better.  We went downstairs and sat on the couch for bedtime stories.

I wasn’t too far into the story, when Billy hopped up saying he needed a tissue.  I was pleased that he was going to use a tissue and not his sleeve, so I just went on with the story.  He came back and sat by me on the couch with his tissue in hand.  When he started tearing the tissue, I was a little suspicious, but not much since he is 2.  A moment later, when I looked over at him to emphasize something in the story, this is what I saw …
