In preparation of #4 coming in a few months, we needed to move along our guest bed. It has been sharing a room with Rusty, but it is time for it to go. It is old. So old that the price of the mattress is actually a label sewn on the top of it (Full Size Serta Perfect Sleeper $89.99). Anyway, we are hauled it off to a dumpster yesterday, but for a few hours it was living on our front room floor. The boys discovered that 40+ year old box springs are really bouncy! It provided at least 20 minutes of fun … well worth it!
Billy saw that I had the camera and that is when he declared, “Take a picture of me bouncing on the big boy bed!”
This last Sunday my brother Dan came up with his family. Rusty and Cate were playing nicely, so I’m not sure what he is about to do to her nose in this shot.
I found these pictures on an old camera and couldn’t remember if I posted similar ones or not. I figured it was better to err on the side of duplication. They are from October 2009. I don’t know why Billy and Cousin Danny are shirtless, but look how cute they are playing with a thirty-something year old toy!
And this was perhaps the cutest little outfit Rusty had at Halloween. What an adorable skeleton! (I’m allowed to be biased … I birthed him)
