Rusty did it today … he walked! So he isn’t a professional yet, but I emphasize YET. Today, many times, he took 4 or 5 or even 6 steps in a row before defaulting to his crawl. It is so wobbly and so dang cute! No pictures were done today, but we’ll get some tomorrow.
This coincides nicely with his freedom with stairs. He mastered the two steps by our front door last week and now he understands what it takes to do the longer staircases. I still keep close by and usually block the stairs because I know that if he gets distracted, he’s going to tumble. Kevin, however, who is usually the worrier, just let Rusty have free run of the house today … up and down stairs, into the laundry room, any where Rusty wanted to take himself! He was one happy baby!
