Tee Ball

We had a disappointed little boy last Monday.  Shortly before Ricky’s first tee ball game, the heavens opened and the rains came tumbling down!  But when Wednesday evening finally arrived, he could not have been more excited!

Kevin is his coach and learned a lot from their first practice and game.  The kids get to practice for half an hour and then they play a 30 minute game.

Ricky has one friend on the team who is also in his class at school.  Everyone say, “Hi, Sam!”

Ricky’s favorite part was batting.  Actually, I think it was the juice he got after the game, but batting was a close second.

The field consists of one first baseman and a whole lot of pitchers.  Also a lot of nose picking, dancing, hat exchanging, and watching the dandelions grow.

But when a ball does come your way, watch out!  All the kids want it!

And let’s not forget how intense tee ball can be … (Ricky is waiting on 1st base here)

#5 has a great season ahead!

(Thanks to my mom for going and taking pictures.  With the new baby and all, I wasn’t going anywhere.)
