Hooper, 2010. The big boys are in their bedroom with the black-out curtain drawn. They have spread pillows around the floor as seats. Tommy is nestled in his Boppy Pillow, Rusty is lounging on a blanket, and Billy is hanging out on the rocking horse. The lights are out. Ricky is on his top bunk with a dinosaur flashlight shining on the curtain. I’ve been invited to join them. What have I been invited to? The movie theater! Ricky’s flashlight is the projector and he provided the sound. What was I invited to watch? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Fast-Forward. This activity kept them all busy for an hour (Well, not Tommy. Rusty whacked him on the head with a book, so Tommy came back downstairs to help me do chores.)
