Last Saturday night, just before bed, thunder and lightning started. Then the rains and then a beautiful double rainbow right outside our front window. The boys were very excited so we sat on the porch and watched for a while. Ricky wanted to go looking for the pot of gold at the rainbow’s end, so Kevin explained how rainbows move all over and it is hard to find the gold. Billy spoke up,
“It’s under the rock. It is easy to find.”
He didn’t say it, but you could tell that there was a “DUH!” at the end of his declaration.
As Ricky was chattering away, he said, “…two rainbows in one sky! It must be a rainbow mix-up night!”
