“ooooo, CHALK!” – said when I brought out the sidewalk chalk the other day.
“NO! Daisy! Don’t lick my chalk!” – said when Daisy was licking the purple blob on the right …
“Oh. Turtle. Would you like a drink of water? Here. Oh, other Turtle. You want a drink too? Here you go.” – said to the toy turtles he took to church yesterday as he took the sacrament cup. Yeah, he dunked the turtles’ heads in his cup. I handed the tray back to the young man and when Billy was finished watering his turtles and drank his water, he looked up and said, “Hey! I didn’t get to put my cup in the hole!”
“Momma! I can’t hear you! Pthhhhhh!” – said at a quiet part of church yesterday with his fingers in his ears. He then buzzed his tongue at me and giggled loudly. I know the pews in front and behind us were laughing and probably even farther.
“Don’t forget about me!” – said to Grandmama as we got home from swimming lessons. She stays home with Tommy while Kevin and I take the 3 older boys to lessons. Grandmama had asked Rusty how his lesson was and Billy didn’t want to be left out.
“I command you!” – said to Poppy. He had asked nicely, but Kevin was not cooperating. Out came Billy’s finger shake, down went the eyebrows, and the command was issued.
