In an attempt to make Christmas more fun for myself and notice the boys enjoying the season, I had some fun with my Facebook statuses. I want to remember them, so I’m sticking them here.
11/30 Orange peels under my fingernails … must be Christmas!
12/3 Little boys in overalls playing with train tracks … must be Christmas!
12/5 My 3 year old saving a reindeer from the cat … must be Christmas!
12/7 My boys getting emails from Santa about hot chocolate and giant North Pole Christmas trees … must be Christmas!
12/11 A big fat, orange cat climbing a not so big or fat Christmas tree … must be Christmas!
12/11 Four broken ornaments and three injuries while decorating a tree …must be Christmas!
12/12 A three year old singing “Rudolph” for the family (dang. cute. too.) … must be Christmas!
12/13 The angel being run-over on by a wiseman riding in a bulldozer (I love my Fisher Price Nativity) … must be Christmas!
12/15 Stealth maneuvers, doorbell ditching, and boy giggles almost giving you away … must be Christmas!
12/16 Three year old playing with his CARS and singing “Oh, timing belt. Oh, timing belt. How lovely is your brother.” … must be Christmas!
12/17 Wrapping presents, tying bows, and singing with Bing … must be Christmas!
12/21 Finding presents that I totally forgot I bought … must be Christmas!
12/22 My 6 year old stomping in puddles and singing “fa la la la la” … must be Christmas!
12/23 My 3 year old seriously disturbed that there is no Rudolph in “The Night Before Christmas” book … must be Christmas!
12/24 Four major meltdowns at bedtime … must be Christmas!
12/25 Just waiting for Grandma to get here and kids to wake up. Guess what … it is Christmas!
