No store bought Valentine’s around here this year … the boys had to make them. Okay. I helped a little.
For their school friends, we melted old crayons into new multi-colored circle crayons. They pretty much thought this was the coolest thing to do … I pretty much had a lot of blood when I got distracted by a question from Billy while slicing the wrappers off the old crayons.
Then for some special loves in their lives, we pulled out the construction paper, doilies, and foam hearts.
Rusty was right in on this fun. He was determined to get to the scissors, even though Kevin kept trying to hide them from him.
The boys both scored a lot of candy from their classmates! We had heart-shaped pizza and brownies and put their Valentine’s up on display.
They may have enjoyed Groundhog’s Day more, but …
