Nine Month Old Tommy

Tommy turned 9 months old this week.  Where did 2010 go?

At his well-check, Tommy weighed in at 16.8 pounds and was 27.5 inches long.  His weight is low, in the 5th percentile and the doctor wants me to feed him and feed him and feed him.   His height came in at the 30th percentile.   I don’t think he looks all that skinny, but I’m just his momma …

Tommy started doing the real live crawling this last week.  He’s slow and calculated, but oh so cute!  He can sit himself up and he wants to eat whatever the grown-up people are eating.  Tommy’s learned to pull himself up to his knees and really, really wants to get up to his feet.  He loves the bathtub and his crawl speeds up toward the bathroom whenever he hears the tub water running!

Rusty calls Tommy “baby” … well, perhaps, more appropriately, “No, Baby!”  Tommy has two bottom teeth, one top tooth, and three more top teeth trying to break through.  He’s happy and giggles and we’ve agreed to keep him a bit longer!
