Somehow time flew by…
And this little monkey …
Stopped being my baby …
And turned two.
Rusty had a good birthday. At least he was healthy for it!
I had great plans for his cake … a race track complete with finish line and spectators. Then I got real. He’s two and he likes cupcakes. And these printed-on-my-computer-and-taped-to-toothpick-cars were actually a huge hit!
You can never go wrong with spaghetti with my boys. I think Rusty was mesmerized by the candles! He kept trying to touch them and just stared until I finally did the honors for him.
Tommy even got in on the cupcake action!
Rusty is not shy about opening presents and made quick work of unwrapping!
We taught Rusty that he is two (said in a tiny voice, “tew!”) but instead of holding up two fingers on one hand, he chooses to hold up one finger on both hands.
RUSTY …
loves CARS and Thomas
likes John Wayne
does puzzles
says No even when he means Yes
adores being outside
calls Ricky, “kicky”
needs his “baby” to fall sleep
does not like me singing
loves to be read stories
will play on his own for hours
loves feminine attention
rarely cries
is my favorite third baby!
