Have you heard of Angry Birds? It is a iPhone game that Ricky is a bit obsessed with.
The idea is that you sling-shot various little birds at block buildings and try to kill all the green pigs. There are a few other aspects, but that is the main gist. It looks like this:
So, Ricky is pretty good at this Angry Birds stuff. Way better than me, anyway. He did a lot of practicing while we waited at the pool for his swimming lessons last month.
Last week, I was doing some work on the computer while the three little ones were napping and this is what Ricky set up in our living room:
He found this purple bird baby toy that looks an awful lot like an angry bird and made himself a building to destroy. Then, since he only had the one bird, he recruited other “angry” friends to help demolish the building. They are all lined up and ready to go …
I love watching his imagination at work. I liked it even better when all those blocks and angry friends ended up back in the box where they belong!
