It's The Great Pumpkin

Due to a hostile grass, our garden consisted of a tomato plant and a pumpkin plant this year.  We did get two nice pumpkins of our own, but my sister’s pumpkin patch is WAY cooler.

Her husband, let’s call him Farmer John, grew a couple of really big pumpkins.  Perhaps not state fair contenders, but big enough that you wouldn’t want to meet up with them on a dark street.

The boys were invited over to each pick a pumpkin – the big ones were off limits!

But, since you don’t often get to sit on a pumpkin larger than you, we had to pause for some pictures.

The boys all thought the pumpkins were pretty cool.  Ricky posed for a picture, but he was mostly focused on exploring Aunt Suzy’s yard.

I couldn’t resist and had to hop on myself.

Thanks, Aunt Suzy and Uncle John for letting us visit your pumpkin patch!
