Thanksgiving

We went to my brother Tim’s house for Thanksgiving dinner.  We took Grandmama and Aunt Nancy down with us.  The boys were so excited that they told everyone for days before that we were going there.

Of course, I didn’t think to pull out the real camera … you know, because reaching into my purse would have been so hard … but I did use the iPod to catch a couple of cute moments.

Like Grandmama eating at the snack table …

And Aunt Kym and Aunt Nancy having a lovely conversation about work …

Cousin Talon teaching Rusty some game on the computer …

Aunt Cathy brought lots of fun stuff to play with and was nice enough to share them with my boys.  Tommy seemed to like Cate’s baby dolls best.  Especially the baby doll bottle…

He hasn’t used a bottle himself in a long time, but he still knew what to do …

He kicked right back and relaxed …

Ricky and Billy spent a lot of time before dinner playing with Uncle Tim’s XBox.  They fell so in love with the Lego Batman game that it was the only thing on Ricky’s Christmas letter to Santa!  Since we don’t have an XBox, Santa let me know that he found the DS version …

The food was good, the company great, the games humorous … it was a good day.

We asked Billy about Thanksgiving the next day.  He said, “I don’t remember what we ate … but we drank water!”

You can’t beat that!
