Tomato Days

Our city celebration was over a month ago, but I just barely took the pictures off my camera.  September was a busy month!

We took it a little slower this year for Tomato Days.  We didn’t do the 5k.  We didn’t do a baby contest.  We didn’t miss them, either.  We did look at the booths and let the boys bounce on the inflatables and ride the train.  And we cheered on Uncle Tony’s Bandit in the dog races.  (Bandit came SOOOO close to winning, too.  Sigh.)

Kevin took these pictures of the boys on the big slide using his camera.  At first glance, I thought, “I don’t remember a Fun House at the park …”

The boys are all just a bit distorted.

Tommy’s makes me laugh!

There was a jousting game that Billy and Ricky gave a try.  Billy knocked Ricky off pretty fast the first time.  The second time, Ricky gave Billy a good push.  The third time, I think they were content to have a tie.  Billy lost his weapon early on and the boys just held onto Ricky’s and lightly pushed and pulled until we finally had to tell them time was up.  Apparently they lack that killer instinct!

The boys always look forward to the barrel train.

And this is how I know they are truly my boys … so proud!!!

We love our Tomato Days!
