Bobby was blessed the first Sunday of November.
It was a good day for us to celebrate our newest boy.
Most of my family was able to come. Kevin’s family is all out of state and when we woke up to snow that morning, we were glad they hadn’t braved the weather to try and come (though we did miss them). Some of my family couldn’t make it to the church meeting, but met up with us at our home for lunch afterwards.
Bobby got to meet Cousin Stephanie for the first time …
And Aunt Diane …
And he spent some time hangin’ with Aunt Cathy …
All of his Olds-side cousins were together, except the oldest (Melissa had to work)…
There were so many cameras and so many pictures taken that the kids got a bit tired but they were good sports…
And, our ginormous couch held 13 people all at once. That’s a new record!
Kevin gave Bobby a very sweet blessing. The circle included Kevin, two bishopric members, Uncles Tony, Dan, and John, and Cousin Andrew. Bobby was nice and quiet during the blessing – but he did fill his diaper! It really was a great day!
