While we eat dinner, I like to ask the boys questions. Sometimes I ask them to tell us about specific things and other times I just ask them to tell us something about their day. It seems hardest for Ricky to come up with something to share and he always goes last.
A few weeks ago, I asked everyone to tell me something new that had happened that day. Kevin went first by saying that he had finished taking down the data center at his work that day.
I validated Kevin’s response and then asked, “What else new happened for you guys today?”
Ricky immediately turned to his dad and, using a new stall tactic, said, “Why don’t you tell us more about that, Poppy?”
