I did some math last month. Except for about 3 months, I will have at least one Cub Scout for 12 years and 2 months. That is a long time to have Cub Scouts and an awful lot of Cub Scout Pack Meetings!
In February, I picked up Cub Scout number 2.
I’m not sure who was more excited, Billy or Ricky!
Billy’s first scout activity was the Blue and Gold Banquet. We found out that they are changing the program and so Billy won’t pass off much until the new book comes out in a few months. Ricky will finish the old program, though, since he leaves Cubs in July.
Billy was introduced to the pack.
He saw a picture of a scout in FULL uniform and asked, “Momma, what do I need to do to get a Cub Scout hat?”
Sigh. Ricky never wanted one. I guess I’ll be visiting the Scout Trading Post soon.
