We are the mean parents …
we put our kiddos to bed on New Year’s Eve.
I think we let them stay up a little bit later than normal, but not much this year.
Then we pull out the goodies, have Grandmama, Aunt Suzy, and Uncle John over and play games.
Someday we will include them in the fun, but for now, they are much happier and easier to get along with on New Year’s Day when they’ve had a good night sleep!
Bring on 2016! We are ready for it!
