I think it is all the little extras that makes Christmas such a fun time of year.
There is the pile of presents that I had shipped to our house rather than going to the actual store…
There are “winter break has begun” binge tv watching events ….
There are homemade bows for my hair made by my 6 year old…
There are tender moments between my baby and his cat …
There are moments when Momma is busy wrapping gifts and leaves Bobby to his own devices too long …
There are lego gifts from friends …
There are evening drives to look at homes decorated with lights …
There are date nights to the “Hoopernacle” …
It’s a barn that houses this man’s private organ and he plays and does a little program each evening for a week before Christmas.
Just a regular old organ holding barn in Hooper …
There are drippy wet clothes and canopy drying in the garage after the Nativity …
And there are family movie nights on Christmas Eve when I have so many boys that I can’t even fit on the couch with them all!
And I wouldn’t have it any other way!
